Recently un-earthed records show that a 2010 article about TPACK contained the above factoid about me and my partner in crime Punya Mishra. I joined the faculty of MSU in 2000 as an assistant professor, so the above claim isn’t true.
That doesn’t have to stop me from wishing it were so, does it? It’s a much better story on so many fronts. That is, that: a) I could create an educational framework as a graduate student; b) that I were as young and precocious as the story implies; and c) that MSU was so impressed with me as a graduate student they hired me on to stay as faculty!
It’s so much better! So, that’s the new story and I’m sticking with it!
